I was gone most of the day….starting early this morning, came in long enough this afternoon to check on emails from Laura concerning Grannie then off again. I just got home from a Christmas Jazz Band Concert that my son plays the drum set on. Sitting there with my face beaming and my heart about to burst....I was overcome with what got me there tonight. Long story short, my family came together and spent over $1200 dollars for his Pearl Drum Set, the whole kit and kaboodle with top of the line crash and ride cymbals and hi-hat. All so that my son could audition for a spot that 10 other kids were trying out for too. I figure you have guessed, he got the spot.
It hit me like a ton of bricks………I am so blessed! I have a happy and healthy family, I have met the most wonderful life-long friends here at THDB. Sure I would like more money, a bigger house, a new car....but those things will never love me back.
I am posting on this to say, that I agree 100%. It’s not the fight, it’s how you fight!!!!! Thank you Todd for once again showing me why you have the most popular Doxie site in the land.....the love of our precious dogs and the new friends and family we meet because of them.

Before I just quit reading when it got ugly. I guess I am a conflict avoider by nature. But, I work with young children and when they get to being too wild I just ask them whose the boss. And 9 out of 10 times they say me. 1 out of 10 usually is not verbal. heehee. So Todd you're the boss on this site. Your site, your rules. And time outs work for adults as well as toddlers sometimes. Sasha says she hopes you bring back the power to the doxies. TOTW

Many thanks for taking the time to come up with the best solution to the problems that the HDB has been having of late. I too, am fed up with the snide remarks, the name calling and the general feeling of unease that has occured due to the behaviour of some members. You have my support in everything you decide to do to the site.... so that we can have our lovely, cosy and friendly HDB back.
Three cheers for Todd, Max and of course, the girl herself, Cleo!
