another doxen in need!
Apparently, I have a gift for finding homeless doxens!
I went to the Humane Society in Anderson Indiana today because I was taking one of my kids(I’m a social worker) to volunteer. Long story short, they have a beautiful doxen in their shelter. Apparently, someone found her on the side of the road and brought her in. She is 3 years old, short light-tan hair, is going to be fixed soon, and her name is Cleo(or Chloe, I can’t remember
) Anyways, I asked about her, and adopting her from them will cost $75. I played with her for a little while and she is just the sweetest, giving me all sorts of kisses. They said she’s good around other dogs as well. They also said that someone has applied to adopt her but they aren’t sure if the person will come back to get her. I emailed DRNA in hopes of getting advice from them and possibly having them involved. As we all know, I can’t be a foster mom
due to not having enough room and due to my doxen being a spoiled brat. This is the Madison County Humane Society and they claim to not practice euthenasia(sp?) but you can never be sure. Just wanted to let everyone know if anyone has advice, let me know!
