Oh, I find that dog gates are great for keeping them off stairs, etc. You can get some pretty cheap on line. I have two 18 inch gates that can go in most any door way or the foot of the stairs. We also have a collapsable "play pen" for going to the park and stuff. It works great for taking your pups places. ;-) Good luck. When we got Belle we had just completely toddler proofed our house and were pretty much ready for a puppy. Good luck with the new pups. They are a sure target for puppy "illegal" play. Also, I like to use baby shampoo for their bathes so I can wash their faces. Sometimes I use Mane & Tail Horse Shampoo, which can be found at Wal-Mart (in the pet aisle) and this gives their coats a nice shine! And how about a water bottle to hang in the crate? Are you going to train them to do their business outside? If not, you are going to need pee pads. All other things can be picked up as you go along. TV an phone cables protected...Not because they might harm themselves with them, but it is nice to pick up a phone or turn on the tv and have it work :) . The most important thing is lots and lots of LOVE. I am sure you already have that or you would not be letting these two wonderful puppies own you!
