Mr. Max has gone to the rainbow bridge

I just wanted to write and let you know Max has passed away. He has been having a few health issues lately but we thought we were getting over them. Yesterday he seemed to feel really good and was happy. He was eating a little better, rolling and just being Max. Today he refused to eat and became unable to urinate and was very uncomfortable. He has also been having trouble having BM’s. I don’t know what was going on, he has been urinating to much and then to go totally the opposite direction. All the tests we have had done showed nothing. Jack and I decided the best thing to do was to send him on to the rainbow bridge to wait for us with our Bubba. It was the right choice but it hurts us so much to see him go. The last month has been tough for our boy and he seemed to be slowly slipping away from us although we tried to pretend all would be fine. We just wanted to share this sad news with you. 2. Comment by the DoxiePets:

It was a difficult decision, but Mr. Max surely is happier now waiting for you on the other side of the rainbow bridge. We all have trouble thinking about the day when we must part with our beloved pets, but you did it with style and great caring. He will appreciate seeing you so much more when you cross the bridge because you did not make him suffer just to keep from being sorrowful yourself. It was a selfless act of kindness. Our pawyers are with you!

Your friends in Florida, Kurt, Kate, Kristof and Kira….the DoxiePets, 6 DoxieKinder and their pet human, Chuck.

My heart goes out to you. I know what it is like to have to send a loved furry one over the rainbow bridge and it is such a hard decision to make for you want to make sure you are doing it at the right time. But in your heart you know when that is so your loved one will not suffer and that is the most important thing. He will always be remembered in your hearts and here for now we all know who Max is and how much he was loved. I now have 2 more furry ones and they definitely filled that void in my heart and my husbands. I am sure you will have more in your life for that is what we do. We must appreciate the time we do have with them and let them go when the time comes. You did the right thing and he is now romping and playing with all our loved ones on the other side of the bridge and waiting for us to join them one day.Peace is with Mr. Max now and rejoice the time you had with him. With all our sympathy
    Cheryl and Zoe and Duncan

Our sympathy is with you. I understand how difficult your decision was. Try to take comfort that you made a loving and caring choice. Think of all the good memories and time you shared together, and hang on to those forever. I know it doesn’t make it easier, but you did it for him too. Thats the hard part of loving him.
