You know, Roo and Rusty….there are a few good people on the board from Louisiana. You might want to get their input on Gumbo. I’ll bet they can give you a few pointers, especailly on how to start a Roux for the gumbo.
My mommy has a great gumbo recipe. She talks about some holy trinity when she makes it.
Maybe we should start a file of gumbo recipes and let you choose the one that you think will go best with the chipmunks and whatever other critters that get mailed to you.

Way to go Boo! Be careful with that chain saw little buddy! Again make sure that goes to Uncle Rusty’s house. He’s at home cleaning out his momma’s freezer as we speak. And yes Barkley, any pointers we can get on making our wonderful gumbo concoction will be greatly appreciated! I am curious why I need to start a Roo for the gumbo when I AM THE ROO who will be starting the gumbo.
