I am a big brother
‘Barkley I have my little sister!!!!! and I am not sure if I like it yet!!! I am going to bed now the little girl is asleep at last and it is way past my bed time.GH can tell you all about the event,cheers mate’
Well we got a phone call at 3pm from Cinnamon Rex’s mum,she had been to the vets had her shot and micro chiped, did I wont to pick her up in 1hour or wait untill tomorrow,silly question.Cinnamon came into my arms to stay at 4.15pm.She is so soft beauitful and playful.
Boo is not sure yet I think it will take a little time.Boo is very very spoilt due to having to fight for his life twice in one year.He has been giving her good sniffs and dose not like it when I hold Cinnamon Rex!!!Boo demands attention,but thats OK my arms and lap are big enough for 2.
Cinnamon Rex is 2 weeks younger than Boo was when I got him and she can already get out of her basket it took Boo about 3 weeks to learn this trick.
I feel like I have a smile plasted on my face and my mouth is sore from smiling!!!!!
Have been taking pics will post when I get them developed,yes I still have not got into digital.
Thats all for now I think I will get a little sleep while the babies are asleep.

Congradulations Boo and GH!!! Wow now Roo and I have a niece and a nephew, Yipee!!! Can hardly wait to see the pictures of little Cinnamon and Boo together.
Dear Nephew Boo, I am going to try to sneak downstairs and throw mom’s stuff out of the freezer to make room for that Walla-thingy. It sure looks big, but I know you can handle anything. Thanks Boo you are the bestest nephew ever!

We’re so happy for you Boo! I bet by the end of today you and your little sis will be inseparable! You’re gonna be the bestest big brother ever! Can’t wait to see the pics. Tell GH to go get a digital camera so she can post pics immediately. I’m a dachsie and I hate waiting for things! Make sure you tell Cinnamon all about her uncle Rusty and me and that we are always here for both of you!! Keep smiling GH and congrats on your new addition!!!

Hi Boo I just wanted to let you know that sisters are good. I’m a sister but I don’t have another dachsie to be a sister with yet. Mom is looking though. I have a older sister Sarah who is a Bluetick coonhound and she is funny. She goes Boooowooooowoooo when she barks. When it is time to go for our walks she boos alot. I like it. Congratulations on your new sister. I know you will like her lots.

Oh wow, Boo. It really happened! You are a big brother. No turning back.
Is she noisey? Did you let her play with your toys or does she have toys of her own? Are you still getting to sit and your mommy’s lap? I have all kind of questions. I’ve got 9 days to prepare for Chloe. Keep me informed. Let me know what to expect.
Get some good sleep. It sounds like you are going to need it.

Hey Barkley,SHE was up and down all night,I need sleep now!!!SHE has her own toys that I am not allowed to touch!!!!!SHE has GROWLED at ME 2 times,I might have been a bit rough.At one stage last night when we did get a bit of sleep GH was asleep on the lounge I was next to her my usual spot and Cinnamon was on top of GH and me!!!! SHE makes funny little cryie sounds but not noisey.Will keep you informed mate so you will have a head start when your sister arrives.

How can you stand it. You’re supposed to go to sleep in the big bed, snuggle in against your human and get up only once or twice if any at all. Doesn’t your sister know this? Man, you have to teach her the rules.
I can’t believe that she has toys you can’t touch. This doesn’t follow the “Dachshund Property Rules”.
She growled at you? Oh, no. You need to talk to her about that. It sounds like it may take a few days to teach her the rules. Goood luck to you buddy and keep me posted.
