My Daddy got Stitches!
Last Saturday my daddy was trying to pull a metal shelf out of a locker while he was at drill. (National Guard) At first the shelf did not want to come out but Daddy is very strong and when he gave it a good pull it came right out and the corner kissed daddy’s bottom lip. The shelf kisses really hard because daddy’s lip got split open and he had to go to the hospital! They gave him 6 stitches!!!! He has had to drink out of a straw and use a knife and fork to eat everything! Mommy told me that they are going tonight to get the stitches taken out. I have tried really hard to give Daddy kisses to make his lip feel better but he won’t let me get near his face!!! I tried to tell him that I was just trying to help but that didn’t work. Please pray for him tonight as he might still be in pain.

P.S. Mommy wants me to tell you guys that the hiring process is not over yet for the policie officer position. We will know by Friday whether or not he goes to the next interview. Please be praying for us as this is really important for us. Thank You!!!

Okay Oscar… you need to just save those kisses up, okay? They save very well… sometimes for weeks! Our mommy denys that, but it’s true. She says they’ll spoil, so she must get them fresh every day. We think she’s just greedy!
Our paws are crossed and mommy says she’ll say a prayer for your daddy!
