What a day Kira had
Hi all….Kira reporting
What a great day I had. This afternoon daddy Chuck got out my bling and dressed me up. We went SHOPPING! What a wonderful place is that PetSmart! We walked up and down the aisles…of course I rode in the basket because I am SPECIAL. There were lots of other dogs there, but not one Dachshund. Every one of them had to stop and sniff me. I LOVED it. Their humans told Chuck that I was so pretty and that none of them had ever seen a cream Dachshund before. Now I really felt special! The girl at the check out counter gave me a treat and came out from behind her counter just to pet ME. Oh what a treat. But the day was not over yet!
On the way home daddy Chuck took me by the new house. We stopped in front of it and looked at it for a long time…at least in Dachshund Standard Time it was a long time. He pointed to a window and told me that was OUR room. We actually get our own room! Now how extra special is THAT? Then we drove home and I told all of the other DoxiePets what a treat they have in store for them. They seemed a bit jealous at first, but it was supper time and food takes presidence over everything, doesn’t it?
Oh I will have glorious dreams tonight. I am the very first DoxiePet to even see the new home. I can hardly wait until next week when we get to go inside and play in that great looking back yard. I hope I can remember where I burried all my bones here so that I can take them with me. If not, I am sure that daddy Chuck and daddy Danny will have new ones for us!
That’s it for now. I am bushed. I think I will put my couch on for a while!

oh kira it sounds like you had a great day. im so happy for you. i hope you can find all your nice bones to but in your pics your yard looks so nice im sure your daddys dont ant you to dig it all up so maybe you should just wait for them to get you some more.

My sweet Kira,
It must have been so exciting to see your new home for the first time. I can’t wait till your all moved in and then Auntie Cheryl and Zoe can visit you at your new home. I am sure your brothers and sisters were quite jealous of you. But soon you all will be there and playing in that lovely backyard. Tell Daddy if he needs my help just call.

Kira, you sure had a great day. We are so excited about your new house. We know that all of you are going to love it and be very happy there. That new yard is going to be so much fun to explore and to bury bones in, hehe.

Sounds like you had a very special day, just you and daddy Chuck:)) I bet you were the hit at Petsmart, how could anyone walk past such a beautiful girl like yourself:) You will be so excited to get into your new home, new smells, and that backyard will be so much fun to run around and play in, and I’m sure daddy Chuck and Danny will buy all you doxipets new bones so no need to worry about finding all your old ones in your current backyard:)

Wow… we don’t get to go out shopping! How fair is that?
I am sure that you will love your new home. A room of your own? We don’t have that either.

Kira what a great day out,bet you can’t wait to go to that new home. I will have to get your new address so we can send a card.
I have been a couple of times to the Pet Shop with Mum,we are due to go next week but due to my delicate situation I can’t go or I would be getting all the attention for the wrong reasons.
Keep us all posted with developments,don’t any of you get left behind,better have a role call before you leave the old house.

You sound like an amazing doxie. The last time we ALL went to PetSmart, I lunged at a 150 lb rottweiler and Mom about had a heart attack. Now she goes in by herself. I don’t get it?

What a very busy day you had! And what a great treat to go to Petsmart. Such a great place. You are a very special girl if you got to see your new house before your other family. Hope they dont stay jealous long, and your right, as long as theres food, theres no worry! Good luck with the new house!
