Either your vet is telling you one thing and her another, or somebody is lying. Grrrr! TJ and Jessi, you both have been through so much. Thank you for opening your heart and home to this little girl. I'm SO VERY sorry this has been a bad experience for you. Stories like this help me renew my commitment to be the best rescuer I can be and only take on what I can handle. The person who wrote this letter not only called YOU a cheat and your vet and the breeder a liar, they also made it sound as if it was all your fault. As much as I believe in these organizations, one such as theirs needs to be put out of business. They could also save a lot of money if they didn't go to Indiana and stayed where they are and take better care of the animals they were entrusted with. sandi I am SO happy you got Lucy, especially away from all of that. Pay these idiots their blood money and move on with your lives. Why is that they can NOW find her records when they couldn't be responsible enough to Lucy in the first place especially when you two had driven 9 hours each way to get her.
