Hello,
I am new to the blog. Our family does not have our Mini Dachshund yet. Mommy is due on Nov. 4th….and we should expect to get our new little friend by the end of December. We’ve already have a name for him….PEPPERONI….and we are looking forward to many fun years with him.
I was just browsing the internet on info for Dachshunds and came accross your site. So, if you have any great website suggestions as to information on care and misc. for Pepperoni, please comment me back. I am trying to know as much as I need to for the well being, love and care of Pepperoni.

You have come to the right place here! Everyone here is a committed dachsieholic, with a huge amount of experience. Look in the Forum for answers to questions….. or just bark them out there.

This is going to be a great place for you to visit! We have a great gang here. Harry is right, we are all pretty much non recovering Dachsiholics. There is no cure.
If you have never been owned by a Dachshund before…you are in for some great fun.

Most questions are answered by someone here and if not they can point you in the right direction.
I have house training tips I can let you have if you Email me put together with help from other members on here.

Welcome. We can’t wait to meet Pepperoni! My hooman’s birthday is also in early Nov, the 7th to be exact, so it will be interesting to see when the little guy actually arrives.

How wonderful of you to join us before you get Pepperoni! We all will be happy to help you in any way we can. As Rhuari and Chase said, use this time wisely. Puppy proof your home and start reading up on Dachshunds. They will creap into your heart at a glance and all your training will start immediately. Best be prepared!

You are so very welcomed to our wonderful family. And that is what we all are here, one great big loving family who help out each other. All you have to do is ask. Once you get your furbaby you will never know how you lived without a doxie and most people at this site have more than one. Like a potato chip you can’t just have one. I have 2 right now and looking to get a third.You will not find a better site or better people than here. Can’t wait to see your new baby in Dec. Have lots of luck and enjoy the wonderful pleasures you will have.
