I have the cutest book to share with you!!! Yesterday, we went to the bookstore. We broused through the Pet’s Book section (of course). Our oldest daughter, Priscilla wanted to look for a book about Doxies that she could read to learn more about them to be ready for Pepperoni’s arrival. We did find some books, but not quite what we were looking for…something more age/grade level reading appropriate for her.

So, we went to the children’s section and there right before our eyes was the book titled “The Hallo-Wiener” by Dav Pilkey. It was certainly not what we were looking for, but it is the most cutest and funniest halloween book I have seen for kids…with a great moral story to it, too.

Here is a tidbit about the book: Oscar is a little dog with a big problem - the other dogs tease him all the time. Now it’s up to Oscar to prove that a little wiener can be a real winner.

Needless to say, we purchased it and both of my girls made me read it to them three times last night before they finally fell asleep. So, if you have kids or your are a kid at heart, go check it out. You will love it. We do!!!
