We will continue to pray for you and Hoagie. I have been in your position and it’s not fun, it’s the hardest thing ever I think. You just need to do what you think is best for Hoagie, you know him best. Everyone will have their opinion, but do what your heart tells you is the right thing. I will think about you often and hope you’re okay.

My mom also did the surgery route with her mini 25 years ago. It turned out perfect. I promised myself that if I were in the same boat and the surgery did not work….a wheelchair cart was my option. Before ANY drastic task is taken, would you consider a wheel chair cart? I have seen all sorts of breeds flurish in a cart. I will continue to pray for Hoag and you.

we went the surgery route with Casey, my mothers doxie. while it was very exspensive we were fortunate that we had good results. Casey is walking again but it was a very long, very very long recovery. he has a goofy little wiggle now that makes him look drunk and his rear end falls if he gets excited and moves to fast but he is her baby and we took the chance and got lucky. we wish you the best of luck also, our thoughts and prayer are with you.
