Hi everyone. I’m new to the site and I recently breed my long haired miniature dapple. This is her first time breeding and I would love any advice you guys have to offer. I’m not sure how many to expect in the first litter. My understanding is that the first litter is normally small, however she has gone through a false pregnancy before and I’m not sure if that will affect anything or not. She is also a smaller mini weighing in at less than 7lbs and is 3 1/2 years old.

Well, two of mine had 7 on their first litters, but one was 10 pound range and the other was 12 pound range. There is really no telling how many she will have. What color of male did you use with her?

  2. Comment by dapple girl:

The male was black and tan. I’m sure they will be beautiful pups.
