Poor Peanut
When I run errands at work I always stop home and let the girls out and spend time with them for about 10 minutes before I go back to the salt mines. Well both Princess and Peanut were enjoying themselves out back in the yard and I watched them from the kitchen window while I look at the pile of bills I just retrieved from the mailbox and I noticed my little Peanut was having troubles jumping up on the deck which is about a foot high. She rounded the deck step side and proceeded to use the step to get atop the deck. Immediately I rushed to the mud room and flung open the back door to let my girls in. Well Princess came right in and poor Peanut just looked at me with those beautiful brown eyes and stayed at the bottom of the steps on the sidewalk. I immediately whisked her back to work with me and let Doc give her a shot of long acting cortisone and a big slug of Super Vitamin B then took her back home to rest cuz she was being bad and barking..barking..barking when I put her in the pen at work.. When I came home from the office she was resting atop the back of the couch under her wankie all snug as a bug in a rug. I am restricting her from jumping although she seems fine now. She is a little sore in the hams from the needle pokes but I thank God I took her to be checked immediately as we all know about doxies and back problems.

Poor Peanut! Good thing you’re stellar work ethic takes you home at least once or twice a day or else you wouldn’t have caught Peanut’s distress so early.
Between Doc’s good pokey medicine and your tender loving care, I am sure Peanut will be back in fine fettle in no time soon!
Please let us know how she’s doing and give her some extra lovin’ from Auntie Doxhoont!
