Just mix a little vinegar into a bucket of water and be sure to dry it up really well afterwards. It leaves your floor looking just like new. You definitely need to have them sealed. I use any household cleaner to clean my Pergo. Just spray and wipe dry. It is the easiest to keep clean. I have read more than one article about dogs that have died from homeowners who have used Swiffer cleaning solution on their floors. Their dogs walk on the floors and then lick their paws, thus ingesting some of the cleaning solution causing them to get sick and some have even died. I would ask your vet if he knows of any cleaning solution you could use that would not be harmful to your pets. Be careful what cleaning solutions you use on your hardwood or linolium floors. I have laminate upstairs in the bed rooms and just clean up any accidents with Biological Washing Liquid for your clothes dissolved in some water which gets rid of the smells of the urine,don't make it too wet or the laminate will swell,dry off thoroughly.
