Large Birds of Prey and wee puppies
This is not abnormal and it scares the heck out of me. I live near a big city and their are lots of subdivisions around me but we have lots of woods in our neighborhood seperating the homes and golfcourses. I see huge hawks circling all the time. They look lovely as they glide on the currents of air but I keep a sharp eye on my little baby Bunny. She’s been harassed by large black crows at times so she knows to keep near the fences when she’s in the yard. She rarely runs straight out in the yard unless her pack is with her (Huge Corgi and English Setter). She usually makes a beeline for the walls of the house or the fence. Smart dog
I remember reading and hearing from our English relatives about a super large bird that had tried to attack several LARGE dogs and some SMALL dogs in England. Watch out Rhuari and Chase! Here’s a link:

Gulp… this is getting a bit too close for comfort. Luckily Ipswich is a few hundred miles away……

Is this happening more frequently? I remember a story a few years back in Central Park and then another in Wyoming or something, but it seems this is more frequent. . . Perhaps they just come in threes. . . Anyway, so glad that little boy was brave and fought off the raptor!!!
