I was wondering if anyone has heard from Suz since the big storm hit in the North-West. She lives in Spokane, Washington and i’ve been worried since i heard some of the state experienced 125mph winds.
She just got internet connection this morning….but she and all babies are fine…there is some property damage….but she’ll post as soon as she can. She sends her love…she won’t be on for a few days…needs to get roof repaired!!!! Suz said to go to www.krem.com…this is their local news…you can view photos of local damage. Prayers for no more bad weather!!!!!!
They must have gotten it worse than us. I’m glad they are okay. We are about three hours northeast of Spokane. We got about 6 inches of new snow, drifted into huge deep piles from the strong winds. I managed to drive down out of the driveway and up the road which wasn’t plowed, but when I got home, my driveway was plowed in. So I had to park on the road and shovel it out. We had no internet connection for about 12 hours. The dogs didn’t seem to mind the blowing snow, but I didn’t like having to take Magic out every few hours.
Sounds like Suz got the worst of it in the Spokane area and then the west Glacier area in Montana was really hard hit. All we got here was wind at about 50 to 60 mph. With gusts up to 100 but for the most part it wasn’t too awful bad here in Kalispell. West Glacier that I mentioned earlier was about the hardest hit in Montana it had gusts up to 140 and alot of trees down and some of the people just got thier power back today. The roads up there were closed for several hours too because of trees down in the road. Hope Suz gets her roof repaired soon. I am happy to hear that she didn’t suffer more destruction. Hope everyone stays warm and dry. Terri, Lexie and Logan
