Good news re: the stray doxie!

I have been outdoors quite a bit today, trying to tame the stray doxie. I met a neighbor and her two children. They were interested in the dog. Well, just 10 minutes ago, the kids brought out their little dog and the stray ran up to them! I just spoke to them as they saw me outdoors. The little girl had Him ( yes, a male doxie) in her arms and they were on the way to their vet’s to see if he has a microchip! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations Mary! Thanks, on behalf of the little guy, for sticking with it and bringing him to safety.
Keep us posted on what happens with your neighbors. Maybe Amy and Brandy will have a new doxie friend in the neighborhood once he settles in a bit.

I realized he was a boy, but guess I did not mention it. I think his owners must have children because he evidently ran right up to my neighbor’s two girls. He looked so happy and relaxed in the car on the lap of one of the girls. I am just thrilled!
