Doxie Winterfest was yesterday on South Beach

The 5th annual Doxie Winterfest was held on a warm balmy day with ocean breezes on South Beach, Miami Beach, Florida. I did not attend but here is a link to photos of the event:

   ahh man…..i didnt know it was this weekend..i forgot!!!

   I went last year and had a blast…oh well, i have a final monday anyway, if i would have known i would have gone and not studied.

   By the way mary, I might be moving farther South this spring. Im hoping Ill be placed at Palmetto Hospital in Hialeah for my clinical training.

   The woman in the red and white striped blouse is Paris Hilton….a photo of her actually. It was just a fun “get your picture taken with a celebrity” gimic.

   Chrissy, I hope you do get the training at Palmetto Hospital. Did you know that the new Homestead Hospital should open in a few months? If you are in Hialeah……do you speak Spanish? Maybe we and our pups can get together one of these days!

   Unfortunately I wouldnt consider myself fluent in spanish, although that is one of the reasons i want to come there…i figure it will either be i learn it quick or i will be in trouble. Dont get me wrong I know enough to get by, and i am much better at understanding than I am at speaking. I didnt know that Homestead Hospital is opening…maybe I will end up spending some time there as well.

   I will keep you updated, and if we move closer we will definately have to have some play dates
