Ice Capade!
I guess today is the day for accidents! I was walking up my driveway this morning to dispose of Baxter’s doggy doo bag in our trash, and I was carrying Baxter because I had just crossed my street where the salt trucks had recenlty gone by and I did not want his paws to burn on the road salt, and I fell on the ice in our driveway! We had just gotten a dusting of fluffy snow which hid the ice, but made it even more slippery. I went straight down on my knees onto the hard ice as I was trying to make sure Baxter did not get hurt as I fell. Thankfully, he was OK, but the fall really scared him because he high tailed it for the door as soon as I was back on my feet. I on the other hand, am one very sore mommy today! My body feels like I was hit by a truck. So, it is Advil for me for a while! Darn ice!! Where is Spring??

Sorry to hear of your nasty fall.
It must be the time for falls my friend in Saudi fell over in a Mall when she was out one day and now is badly bruised with a swollen ankle.

OUCH!! Luckily we haven’t had any snow here as of yet but they are calling for a couple of inches tonight..I’m so sorry you fell but now maybe my mom will be careful when walking in the snow..Hope you feel better soon.

OUCH! I hope your knees are alright. It’s very icy here right now too. The temps haven’t gone above freezing for a few days. My van doors were even iced closed this morning.

Ummm OUCH!!! Poor Bette! I am glad to hear that Baxter is okay and that you are okay save for a few bumps and bruises. Tell them that Auntie Doxhoont says you should work from HOME!

Bette you really could have hurt yourself. It is a good thing it was just your knees and not your head. What is going on with all the accidents to our family members here on the blog. Everyone please be very careful. Is there a full moon or something. Bette advil should help and of course you have Baxter to take care of you. Lucky he came away unscathed. Baxter you have to take care of your mommy especially since she took this fall for you so you wouldn’t get hurt. Love you both

Oh no Bette! I know you’re sore, but I’m just glad you and Baxter are ok, well mostly ok. You can always come here till spring.
