An exciting day!

Hey all, Belle and Blaze here!

Well, we’ve had a fun day today. It has almost made up for the horrible bath day we had a few days ago.

We got up early today, which is weird, cause normally mom and dad let us sleep in late Saturdays. Dad said something about getting us ready for school. “Hmm, we thought we had finished school” we thought to ourselves. Maybe they needed us to be the teachers or something.

When we got to school, we saw some of our old friends, and alot of new pups. Mom said they were there for the beginner class, and soon our teacher called us to a different part of the training area. There was all kinds of interesting stuff there for something called agility. First we practiced sit and stay to show that we remembered our other lessons, then we learned some new things. We were introduced to the weave poles, which was interesting. We didn’t weave yet, but we learned to walk through them and not be afraid of them (they are seperated for now). Then we went through a barrel, and then we went through a long tunnel. Blaze did not like the tunnel at first, but Belle whipped through it like a pro. We got sooo many treats and loves. We also jumped over a pole, which was only 4 inches high, so we won’t get hurt. We had so much fun.

After we were done, our teacher talked to mom and dad about us. She said we are so good from our last lessons that we should enter an obedience competition. So mom and dad entered us for the competition in May. The teacher said we will win first and second place . We are going to have to practice though, because there are lots of other dogs in the competition.

After all that excitement we are tired, so we are going to go have a nap.

An agility competition sounds like fun, and on a tropical island to boot! Maybe you can practice running around palm trees to get ready! Good luck and take pics so we can see what agility competition is like! Wishing I was on a tropical island, Baxter

Well done you 2, I wish we could do agility,we are very good at getting on the sofa and walking along the top so we are agile, there is no agility for small dogs around here.

I hope you do well at the obedience competition and leave all the other contestants standing.
