Ludwig and Alfred
Well Alfred has been here close to a week now and I guess he isn’t so bad. The first day or two we just chased each other around a lot. I had to make sure he knew who the top dog around here was!! I didn’t like it at first when he would try to take my mom’s attention but now I have realized that there are hugs and belly rubs enough for both of us!! It is kinda nice to have someone to chase around the yard and with two of us the nasty old cat leaves us alone instead of chasing me. The only problem is that Alfred wants all the chew bones for himself.! Yesterday I spent 10 minutes carefully hiding one of the chew bones in between the couch cushions and burying it with the slipcover and doesn’t alfred come along and try to take it. Well I told him a thing or two and he had to back off!!! I guess having a brother has its ups and downs but it is not so bad after all.

Awwww Ludwig - you are very good to give Alfred a try. Keep up the good work and give him a bit more time. You’ll foget all about what your life was like before he came along soon enough.
