Tornado Warning!

So, here I am cooking dinner and well aware that we had a line of strong storms out to the west of Fort Worth….Lucy, our basset, has just come home from having her ability to have pups taken away. Glen puts her in the tub with Griffen and I and then we grab Dasch and Romy.

This is all just in time for the siren to blow which is located just about 75 ft from the house. The hounds all did really well.

We did have one touch down and take most of the roof off of a grocery down the hwy. All is well, thank GOD and now Dasch is running around the house like a chicken with his head cut off. Lucy, didn’t want to come out of the tub. I think she hurts and she’s had her one and only pain pill for today.

Hope everyone else has a nice CALM Friday evening!

Stacey

Wow Stacey I am glad to hear you are okay.

Tornados are NOTHING to mess with.

Sorry to hear that Lucy isn’t up to her best. Perhaps if you put a few comfy pillows in the tub with her and left her there. Actually the cool porcelain might feel good on her sore body.

Hope things settle down for you later and that no more tornados blow your way!!!!

Scary! I sure wouldn’t be IN the tub, I am a sissy and I would probably get UNDER it. Glad you are alright. And wow, I didn’t know they gave pain pills for a spaying, Life sure does change ove the years. I am sure she will be fine as frogfur in a few days.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers…all is quiet now. There was a great deal more damage than I thought. Hubby is about to head out to work. The boys and I are about to snuggle up in bed for a night of rest!

Phew…. that was lucky! We are very glad that you are all safe. I would hate to have tornados around here.

Wow, glad everyone is well. Personally out of all the weather we are having my first choice would be the tornado. Western Kansas and Colorado got walped with white out snow! Now the noreasterner back east. Yesterday we got thundersnow, thunderstorms, sleet, lots of rain, and something inbetween all that then more snow. When we got up limbs were down everywhere, there was a fox in my backyard, and the house was dripping so badly, I thought it was raining with the sun out. Glad everyone here did OK!
