Peanuts Delivery

Peanut and fozzy thank you for all your support. What a long day for peanut. We ended up at er vet at 830. She went this morning to her vet for another check up all seemed Ok. At 6 tonight she said if there were no pups by 10 to go to er. we couldnt wait till 10 she was in alot of pain. c section was done at 11. There were only 5 pups only 4 made it. ONe little guy was not fully developed,none of his muscles/skin had formed on his abdominal cavity all internal organs viewable. The doc said that was the cause of delivery problems.we are very sad. The wonderful news is that my baby girl is going to be OK with 4 healthy pups.thank you for your prayers. I can go get her tomorrow at 7 am. I will write with any new news.

   Glad your delivery went well Peanut! Congratulations on your new furbabies! I think you need a nice long nap after what you just went through though.

   We all know about the anguish of waiting and waiting and then the delivery ending in a c section. Glad Peanut and at least 4 pups made it thru.

    Glad Peanut and 4 healthy pups are OK. Sorry to hear about the 5th one. This is why I could never breed animals, it would be too hard to deal with the inevitable problems.
    I hope pics of the pups are coming soon!

    Thank you to everyone!!Peanut is donig great as are the puppies! 3 boys 9.56 oz,9.24oz,8.06oz 1 girl8.4oz. she is a wonderful mommy.She was spayed during c-sec. I could never watch her go through something like this again. Can you post pics directly on this blog or do they just go to main page and albums.
