part one - friday was supposed to be our first dachshund reunion..
as you know, we have elanor, damien, and lola.. we’re babysitting curtis (griffo).. i was hoping to get silly and snickers to come for a visit. silly couldn’t make it, but snickers did! it was really cool to see snickers - it’s been about a month and a half, since the last time we saw him.

i’m sure you guys can imagine the chaos!! it was a lot of fun - all the barking, running, playing.. hehe.. everyone got along pretty well, but curtis didn’t like snickers too much. i think curtis was trying to protect elanor.

i took a bunch of pictures, most of which were blurry.. nobody wanted to stay still enough for me to capture the moment! oh, well.

part two - grammy fran’s surprise!
my mom has joined the dachshund world! she called me this morning and told me she was going to a breeder.. i didn’t believe her! she stopped by my house, and wouldn’t you know, she got a chocolate dappled male! he’s soo cute!

i’m really happy for her - she’s been wanting another dog for months now.. bugging everyone to look at pics on the web, etc. she was looking for a tiny, toy breed.. i didn’t think she actually wanted a dachshund! i would have given her elanor (who still needs her forever home), but i didn’t think that she really wanted her.. you see, my mom likes to tease/joke/be a pain in the you know what!

if i had gone and seen this pup, i would have bought him too. i don’t blame her! she said that his name is frisco.. i don’t really care for the name, so i suggested others.. we’ll see what sticks. what do you think??

i told her to join the blog.. i’ll have to set it up for her, but then again, she may be a bit busy with the new puppy! i’ll post pics soon!
