Our Doxie Box has arrived! Its my first Doxie Box. I was so excited! The box was so big, mama said did they send us another dachshund, hee hee. Mama helped to open it. The first thing we saw was a tag that says to enjoy our Doxie Box. Inside was a special, magic food bowl. Its white ceramic shaped like a jester’s hat with red and black jester hat ceramic tassels along the sides; a metal bowl fits down inside it. Red and black and white are some of mama’s favorite colors. Mama says it is exquisite. She put some of the yummy treats in there for me right away. There are fun toys; a crackley-hotdog, this is a big hit, I like to carry it! Assorted squeakies - I am learning to make them squawk! I went right to work unraveling the rope toy, too. There is a squeaky racoon who mama said we must play gentle with, he is round with a masked face and stubby feet with no legs and mama thinks he looks just like ME! There were also fun rolly-balls, a Cuz and my very own Bobo! I love my Bobo. I took him to the bigbed with me already. But best of all is the beautiful blanket that was sent. Its a supersoft, rich mahogany fabric with a tweed-pattern trim and white fleecy underside. It even has a white bone design on the corner! Mama said something about a backdrop and a studio photographer for that one, which explains why we are posting this as text without pictures yet. Everything was color-coordinated in chocolate shades just for me. As if all this wasn’t wonderful enough, there was a really great-smelling candle just for mama. She says this is so perfect because I am the Jester who brings her joy and light, and my name is Jester Summer Daylight!
