ATTN CLEO - TROUBLE WITH HDB

I have been asked to report to Cleo on behalf of some bloggers who are having issues.
It seems they can only get into the chat window and nothing else. Several members have posted in chat that they are having this problem.

The fluke is over here. I seem to be alright now. yesterday was strange. but i am NOT saying it too loudly, they may be gremlins!

I was having issues yesterday, then I got on Ok.
I got on Ok to THD blog web page this morning, and the next thing I knew I could not get on and every time I clicked on someting on the main web page I was booted to the chat page with the new server message.
Now, I am back on and it seems ok. I guess it comes and goes!

This was just a side-effect of moving servers for some people within the 24 hour period after the move. Basically what was happening is that the affect people’s ISPs were using both IP addresses for the site, perhaps for different pages of the site they may have cached but not refreshed. . the new ones and the old ones, so that they would go back and forth between the two. . .
Glad it’s working now for everyone.

BaxtersMom is still having MAJOR troubles….I am going to help her empty her cache to see if that helps.

OK well, she did empty the history file and the cookies and is still having probs. Any suggestions?

I am back again!
After I emptied all my cookies and internet temp files, and it was still happening, I checked with one of our IT gurus (perk of working in IT!) He checked some things and said it proabably was our DNS server we use to go to the internet having to empty its cache to get to the new server web site. It may take a day or so to completely clear the cache so that is why I have been able to get on sometimes and then not othes. So, I will wait a day or so and see if it sticks.
