Hello everyone! We have a new addition to our family…the little man below. He is in the photo section also! The problem is…we don’t have a name for him yet. Suzanne of the Sweetie Weenies and Bobbi have given us some ideas. But, we still just can’t decide! What do all of you think he looks like? We have thought of Oscar, Huey, Simon, and Moses! We thought of Moses because he is very laid back and he kind of fits the phrase “Slow as Moses.” Our other names are Pearl, Leo, Wilbur, Henry, Emma, Gretchen, and Dory! So, we would love your opinions on a name for our new little man!!! Thank you so much everyone! I can’t wait to hear your ideas!!!

  5. Comment by Tia:

I think you should go with Moses. I love it!

  6. Comment by Ozark:

Some of those names sound more feminine to me. My son and hubby wanted a “manly” sounding name for our dog! Does he make grunting noises? If so, Wilbur is a good choice!

  7. Comment by Dooozie:

I never heard of “slow as Moses” … I’ve heard of “slow as molasses”. I didn’t know Moses was known for being slow. :)

I like to offer, but nobody ever takes me up on it, to talk to the puppy and see if he has a preference. I’m an animal communicator and I don’t charge, I just do it because I love it! Sometimes animals already know their name or like to help choose one; Lolly certainly named herself, she shouted her name at me for 2 days before I gave in! Let me know if you’re interested!

I have a suggestion for you. Today at work a lady told me her dog’s name was Cookie, she said she named herself. I ask how she did that, she said that she called her dogs different names and she never responded to any but Cookie. She tried it a few times to see if it was a fluke and every time she would look at her whatever she was doing at the time. I thought it was a cute idea to let her dog name itself. :) Just an idea

  24. Comment by Tuulikkisstepmom:

OK, I’m on a “Charmed” roll (see “Mom got to meet our new sister, Paige”) … how about Cole? Or Wyatt? Or Luther?

  25. Comment by Lyn:

I like Moses! It’s unusual. I like puppy names that you don’t hear all the time. All the names are good however. I think the phrase is “Holy Moses.” but your pup doesn’t have to earn the holy of title. All doxies are holy.
