My first rescue

Well guess what, wednesday I’m going to Va. Beach to pick up a doxie from a family that no longer has time for him. This is the first time I’ve done this. My plan is to find him a good loving home where he can enjoy life! His name is Boomer and he is 5 he’s a long haired red with a black overlay, he was rescued from another family about 16 months ago covered in fleas and not so much hair. now the family that rescued him needs him rehomed because they just dont have enough time for him. I feel like this could be the first of many ……………. wish me luck!

   Great for you! I rescue all dogs and have for years. It’s a very fulfilling experience.

   Way to go Shelly!!! I thank you and everybody who rescues. I am not able to do this right now because we will be moving to NC in a few months and I would’nt want the little guy or gal amist all this chaos.
   But, eventually I would really love to and transport as well.
