A thought as I was posting a couple pics
I was posting some pics of the boys, and the thought occured to me that I seem to post more pics of Marley and Hensley? Maybe many of you don’t even notice, but thought I would give some kind of explanation so people don’t think I favor Marley and Hensley, or that I post their pics because they are creams:))) It seems as though the older Louie gets, the less photogenic he becomes. I have taken so many pics of him since getting my new camera, but not a one turns out nice. For one, he hates getting his pic taken so he will go to whatever lengths needed to ensure that I don’t get a decent pic. When I do manage to fool him, the pics just don’t come out that nice. He used to be the most photogenic dachsie around, but now that has changed, why I have no idea? Leo is the same way, I take many pics of him as well, but can’t seem to get any decent ones. I do manage to get a few more of him than Louie though. Riley is photogenic but only outside, he’s got too many colors to be photographed inside. He is the most handsome boy and his pics just don’t do him one ounce of justice. I do get several pics of him posted, but still nothing compared to Marley. Hensley doesn’t even get posted as much as Marley, he’s not very photogenic, which is hard to believe with an animal:)) I’ve taken a zillion pics of him, but again not that many turn out very nice. When I say not photogenic, Hensley seriously is not. I can take 100 pics of him, and I might get 5 that look decent:)? I was talking with the breeder, and I mentioned this to her, and because he is very handsome you would think a pic would be simple as pie. The breeder told me the dam to Hensley is gorgeous, and I’ve seen her, and she is absolutely beautiful, she’s a cream brindle. I have even taken pics of her, and not had one turn out nice, and the breeder said she really would like to update her pic, but has also taken a ton of pics of her, and never can she get a good one, so Hensley must take after his mama, whereas Marley takes after his furry papa:)))
Now I know this might sound like a strange blog topic, but I just don’t want people thinking I’m only taking pics to show off Marley:)) I want to show off all my boys, but if only I could get a nice pic of them. I will try and get some other pics of them tomorrow, see how it goes. The other thing I can rarely take pics in the house, there isn’t enough light, and most of my boys are dark, so really nothing turns out inside, it’s quite frustrating. Now once the snow flies, this is when Louie and Leo are the most photogenic, they take the best pics in the snow, that’s why you will notice most pics of Louie are in the wintertime:)))) Just thought I’d say something, don’t want anyone thinking I favor anyone dachsie of mine over another:))) Bobbi

Bobbi, You worry about little things like I do. I am sure no one thought that.Marley and Hensley are very cute. We will wait and see pics of the others. Do’nt fret!! We still love you!LOL

The reason is. That you are looking at them.(No pic is good enough for us) find a person you really trust to look at them.(Maybe your kids))
1. do it sets of twenty wait a day pick 10.
2. wait a day pick 5
3. next day.pick 3
4. last day you will have 1 pic. for every 20 you took.
5. So when you get 5 of those you should have what you are looking for.. SO its 5 great pic per 100
6. this takes a long time but the results are cool,hope this helps “Pal”(Buddy’s human)

I know what you mean, I can take 60+ pics and end up deleting most of them,the group ones are the worst as it is harder to get everyone looking in the right direction,just as you click someone will move,yawn,give the dachsie next to them a kiss etc.
If this was back in the days of film in our cameras we would have loads of wasted film or simply not take as many and hope they are OK when developed.
Keep it up Bobbi,you will get a good one of them all eventually.
