Getting A Shot!
Today I gotta go get an ‘allergy shot.’ Mama saw me nipping at my hip and when I moved my nose for her to inspect, I have a sore!!!! Mama says she knows it was NOT there 2 days ago, and if it was yesterday she didnt see it when she looked me over and petted me with my kitten-brush. I already went to the Dr this morning and got a pill-cooky, they want me to come back this afternoon and get the shot too. I also had a medicated bath this morning and a flea treatment, just in case, although mama hasnt seen any fleas. This was what the Dr. told mama to do for me. My sore spot is near my hiney, and I sometimes get full anal glands so mama will have them expressed and checked too, she & my Dr suspect this is the problem, the allergy shot is just to make me feel less itchy while my ouchy heals. We will let you know how it goes. Mama is scared and worried about me.

You should be fine sweet Jester.
Baxter had a very bad reaction to some lawn fertilizer once and I had to bring him to the vet four times in one week! The vet had to give him an allergy shot too.
He was back to his old self a few days later, so hang in there!
You have a wonderful caring mommy, so don’t worry! She will give you lots of cuddles and kisses to make you feel better.

Awww Jester - Auntie hopes this is just a quick blip on your fluffy radar. You’ll be a good boy of course and do what mommy and the vet need you to won’t you?

Have your Mama make sure you get lots of treats afterwards! The pills are in the past right now, so enjoy her making over you after all your examining on your dogdom!

Shots hurt, but my vet gives a big treat to munch on while they give the shot, and by the time the treat is gone so is the shot. Sasha.
