Powerful Little Breed

Someday in the future
When I am no longer part of this world
I hope that those who have touched my life
Will gather, sit together and remember
My love for life
My love for them
Their love for me
And that we were friends.

Time is short
So while I am here
I will tell them how I feel
While we sit together now
I will tell them
I love life
I love them
I know they love me
And I love that we are friends

One little breed with the power
To join so many from
All walks of life
Different backgrounds
Different races
Different religions
Different everything!
One powerful little breed indeed.

True friends will practice to forgive
And practice to forget
It is this very lesson
That is taught to us
By this little breed we so fiercely love
One powerful little breed indeed.

    Rita this is the most beautiful way of summing up just what the Hotdog blog and the friendships we have made because of these little furry angels means. I am going to put it on an index card, laminate it, and carry it in my purse to show all my non-blog friends when they roll their eyes when I talk about the Hotdog Blog.
