I have been trying to get my two dogs to stop barking everytime they see the cat. I decided to try the shaking coins in a soda can trick people on the blog have mentioned. So Ihave been shaking the can to try and distract the boys when they bark at the cat. Last week the cat came into the kitchen and jumped on the counter knocking over the can. While Ludwig barked wildly and I tried to remove the cat from harms way, Alfred ran over to the can, picked it up in his mouth and shook it! He looked at me as if to say look mom, we shake the can when someone barks at the cat right? If only he picked up on the stop barking part of the equation

LOL…ya know the key to the coin in the can trick is they cannot see you with it or shaking it right??? Because Doxies are so smart, now they can maybe teach us a thing or 2!!! LOL
