Bobo eaters

OK my two boys are decimating the bobo population here in NJ. They play and bite their bobo’s, but then they pull the fur off of them and then eat it, YUCK. They love them but I find myself having to throw out perfectly good, albeit with patching fur, bobo’s alll the time. I hope they outgrow this ( they are 5 months old) because they do enjoy them.

Well, now, that is kind of getting expen$ive, isn’t it? When they start to demolish BoBo’s take em away and replace them with something they can’t destroy so easily! I am lucky, ArrBee just “nibbles”.

Beau is my toy destroyer he can have one totally destuffed in 20 minutes or less. But we don’t throw them away till they are totally dead. He has been known to proudly carry around a destuffed toy for months LOL. But the defuzzing he only does to tennis balls so we have lots of naked tennis balls(I feel a comment coming from Spanky on that LOL). I haven’t found a toy yet he can’t destroy and only a few he choses not to.

Sasha is mellowing in her toy destruction now that she has all her adult teeth in and is almost seven months old. She tries taking the tail fuz/ hair off a toy duck every once and awhile, but I tell her stop, and toss the duck so she has to chase after it and it seems to help. The bobo has been safe since the original major surgery of a lost foot. But, her and big bother like to play tug of bobo, and I am expecting it to rip in two any day now. But, hey almost 2 months on one bobo is a good sign. Isn’t it?

All of mine still play with their “de-stuffed” bobos. They still like to play with them and they wash easy too!

  5. Comment by Kayla:

Abbey loves her bobo…but it is already in need of repairs, she tore a hole in the poor thing. I really don’t know if they ever outgrow it from what I’ve heard, but who knows.

  6. Comment by Gretchie and Gunny:

Mom just got me two bobos and i had the ears gone in about 10 minutes. I chew and eat the fur off of them but mom usually grabs them aways. today i knocked the whole trash can over to get them back.
