Oscar here. It’s been snowing here since last night. Mommy loves the snow. Me I like to just sit and watch it. Sure I’ll play outside in that stuff for a little while but then the ice and snow balls up on my longhair and gives me owies. Mommy had a dentist appointment early this morning and it took her forever to find her car burried under all the snow (it took her almost 30 minutes to get her car cleared of snow and ice enough to see to drive. Anyways every weekend I walk with mom to the mailbox at the front of our apartment complex to help her get the mail. Well today since there’s so much snow on the ground I insisted that mom put me in my sweater and booties. She said she was thinking about doing it anyways because she wanted me to stay dry (she didnt want me to smell like a wet dog), she also said i had to wear my booties because the apartment management people had put down a ton of salt to try to melt some of the snow and ice and she didnt want that getting in my paws either, plus this way my feet would stay dry (no muddy foot prints on her carpet she said, and no ice balls on my feet). So we walked up to the mailboxes all decked out mommy in her coat and gloves and me in my sweater and booties. We were quite a sight to see, but at least we were warm.
