1 more dachshund.

I spoke with my husband today about getting one more dachshund. Before Boogey came into our home I knew nothing about Dachshunds. I love him so much that it only made sense to share our love and give a needy dachshund a good home. So we are on the look out. I wish I could post pictures of my baby but it always tells me that the picture size is to big to post. No matter how I try to make it smaller it won’t work. …………I will keep you all updated on our search………..peace and happiness…….Boogey and Kim.

Kim, I sent you a pm telling you how my son showed me how to make the pictures smaller.

You never know where you’ll find your next. I found mine in the parking lot of the huge office building I work in. Keep you eyes peeled! LOL

Kim, If you are looking for a rescue doxie maybe you can consider this site..They are swamped with doxies from what I hear.

Kim, I too wish I could have more dachshunds, but i would have to gain like about 600 lbs to hold em all on my lap! Good luck with your wonderful quest and keep checking the local shelters…one will be there JUST FOR YOU!! i guarantee it!

Ooops!! Kim I gave you the wrong address..
    it’s

    Sorry,!!!

  8. Comment by BoogeyB:

Thank you all for the support!! Thanks Angelika for that address. I found a female doxie on the petfinders web site, and she was right here in my area but when I went to look again and make contact she was no longer on the site. I hope to find a female. Maybe a young adult. Seems a lot of rescue sites want to place dachshunds in homes without children. I’ll keep looking. It really breaks my heart to see all these animals in need of a family. I really wish I could take them all. …………Boogey and Kim.

We know you will one more to love. Our mommy wishes she could take all the homeless doxies too. Right now we’re just happy she has us!

You will enjoy the multiple doxie home!! When two or more doxies are together, they make such clowns of themselves. It’s always a Kodak moment!

  11. Comment by Ally:

I tried the ssdr site too, but they didn’t have anything for a family with children, which broke my heart. I even emailed them to see if they could help me find one, but it didn’t work out. We’ll keep looking too!

I know out there somewhere is the doxie that you are meant to have. Good luck, and let us know when you find her!

Good luck on your search. Be patient and I’m sure the right match will come along! Ruth and Daisy
