and all of you should take a peek at the “dorkie” and yes, it is what you think…a dachshund and yorkie pup! They are adorable, but wow. I am not sure, but it sounds like there are WAY too many people who don’t even know what erring on the side of caution means.

I don’t believe in hybrid dogs or as they are so fond of calling them “Designer Dogs” I think it is wrong to deliberatly breed a mutt, when there are so many homeless dogs in shelters that are being put to sleep. Maybe the shelters should give all the mutt dogs fancy names, call them designer dogs, and sell them for exorbitant prices and maybe they would soon be empty.

Sandi, sorry if I came of sounding a little or a lot harsh but this topic really makes me mad. It isn’t fair to the dogs or the people who are dumb enough to pay exorbitant prices for these dogs.

I agree Terri. You would think Designer Dogs would be the purebreds?!?!?!?! Very cute pups though! Anything with doxie in it is cute to meee!!

I agree with you Terri. I didn’t take offense at all! It was wrong! It just goes to show you that others see these puppies and all they SEE is cuteness! My thoughts on it? Well, they all started from the wolf, according to some experts, which tells us that wild dachshunds, yorkies OR poodles didn’t roam the earth since time began!
