Well the vet told me I should keep these two boys quiet for at least a week, well we all know that isn’t even a remote possibility, maybe 2 hours:)) They both woke this morning ready to rock and roll, you wouldn’t have even known they had just been neutered. I have tried keeping them quiet, but it’s just not in the cards for these boys, it’s full speed ahead or sleeping, and that happens in their kennel:))) I am glad I had it done, don’t regret it for one minute:)) They are back to their normal selves, kind liked it when they were a tad quieter…jk:))) It’s not like these two are the first dachsies I’ve gotten neutered, but each time I forget how quickly they bounce back. So all is well on the Musketeer homefront:))
On another note. I took Louie in to have his thyroid level checked, this was on Thursday. His thyroid level is within normal limits, this is the first time in many years. I’ve been having to adjust his med dose based on his level, but now I think we’ve got the right dosage:))) He doesn’t need a recheck now for 6 months, and he’s been without any seizures since his thyroid has been functioning as it should:)))) Bobbi
