My vacation is over, back to work on Monday
I’ve been on vacation for two weeks now, and it’s time to go back to work on Monday night:( We were suppose to go to Las Vegas, but decided to save our money for our new house we plan on getting this spring, and going to Vegas will definitely deplete any savings I’ve done:))
I’ve enjoyed spending these past two weeks with my clan, it’s been awhile since I’ve have been able to do this:) People at work will ask me how Vegas was, and I’ll tell them we didn’t go, instead we got two dogs neutered, and we acquired another puppy, watch their mouths hit the floor:))LOL
Riley will be most devasted, he’s a total mama’s boy, and he loves when I’m home, and panics whenever I leave, but he will get used to it again, he still has papa home:) Paisley did get housetrained, for the most part, while I’ve been home, she’s a smart cookie:)) I would have much rather spent the time with my dachsies than go to Vegas anyway, I just worry too much when I’m away from them, so it worked out just fine:)) Since my hubby gets laid off every winter, I told him someone has to make money:))) Bobbi

Two weeks vacation - even if it is spent around the house is still time away from work!!! Not to mention the sheer pleasure of spending quality time with your puppers!
Bobbi don’t fool yourself - I am sure your colleagues know by now to not be the least bit shocked that YOU would acquire yet another doxie!
They may be shocked that Paisely is a GIRL though!

I have very simple needs. If I’m home with my two, I’m happy. Lots of people don’t understand that, but then again, they don’t have Dachshunds!

I am sure that they will miss being with their mommy…but so happy that you stayed home with them! We are the same way, I would much rather be home with our babies than going on a vacation. Of course, neither of us like to travel, so I suppose that helps us out a good bit! Being home with the doxies is the best place to be!

Oh don’t you love vacations at home? I agree with Darling Doxies, I would much rather be home with Kona than going on vacation. This weekend is a 4 day weekend for me- I can’t be more excited to take little Koners to the beach!

The only vacations I have taken since I got Baxter are at home with Baxter or somewhere where I can take Baxter.
Being able to spend all my time with Baxter is a vacation to me!
Besides, I would not enjoy myself if I had to leave him with someone and went away, so it is not worth it to me.
