I’ve got to brag
Hi. I have to brag on my rescue dog named Shed (long story). Anyway, she appears to be a Brittany mix. i alternate taking Daisy Mae and Shed to the County Home to visit the residents. Most are either mentally retarded, mentally ill, or both. Shed has had no training in this as far as I know, but she is a NATURAL. This weekend, a low functioning gal was trying to pet her but was kind or pawing at her snout. Shed just sat there like it was totally fine. I have never seen her growl, show her teeth, etc even with the other dogs! Daisy is stillmkind of freaked out there. Typically I hold her and just let the folks pet her. I’m trying at attach a picture. Just wanted to share. any other “working dogs” out there? Hugs, Ruth,Daisy and Sheddie Pooh

Awwww Shed is a cute name for a dog provided it doesn’t apply to what happens to it’s fur all over the house! I would prefer to think that it has to do with an outbuilding where she was found?
I think there are a few therapy dogs on the Blog and I have thought about seeing if Brownie would be suitable.
Please share the photos - I am sure they are very heartwarming to see.

I saw Shed in the photo section. AWWWWWW what a cute lil guy. Ruth it is so nice of you and your “herd” to visit your County Home. Princess and Peanut are not cut out for that kind of work.
