Saturday Playdate with Herman the German and His Sisters!
Wow did we have FUN! Herman’s mommy contacted our mommy to set up a playdate and what a great idea it was. Herman’s mommy Kelsey and daddy Bill came with Herman the German of course and his sisters Lucy and Keira. Annabel wasn’t exactly thrilled with Keira at first but they did warm up to one another. (The mommies are pretty sure it’s because they are both alpha females.)
Rather than hike the shortlegged wieners all the way up to the dog run, mean mommy had the great idea of playing inside the veggie garden. It turned out perfect! Lucy even helped by pulling up some of the weeds and baby trees!!!
Herman looked very dapper in his Sweetie Weenies fleecy coat but still had a ball rolling and rolling and rolling. He was so happy that he and Brownie even broke out into the Dachs Song!
Of course Not-so-Mean Mommy took a bunch of pictures. Herman’s mommy fell in love with Brownie and our mommy was very smitten with Herman’s sister Lucy. Lucky for all of us though, each went home with the right pup.
We can’t wait to do it again but it will be more fun once the weather is a bit warmer!

Looks like Annabel and Brownie loved having buddies over for a play date!
They are so lucky!!
Hopefully, Baxter will get down your way for a play date with Annabel and Brownie this summer!

Looks like you guys had a great time and a beautiful day too!! Cocoa is a little jealous since Annable got to play with her Hermie!! But we are glad you had fun. Wish we could make a date to play. No one lives close to us!! Oh, well!!!(sigh)
