I had a scare!
While sitting in my lazy-boy chair with the computer, Rusty kept jumping up on my lap. I noticed that he had cold, wet feet. I figured that he was just “potty-diving” in the downstairs bathroom. The second time, he left a little muddy footprint on my lap. Hmm…So, I followed a trail of muddy little footprints, which merged with larger footprints, which led to the back door. I turns out that someone had left the back door leading to the garage open, and ALL of my furbabies had been in the garage! There are some things that they should not get into out there. So, I closed the door and took a roll-call. All 3 dogs and 2 cats accounted for! Phew! I hope no little rodents got in. But with 3 dogs and 2 cats, I’m sure someone will “take care” of the intruders. I did notice that Rusty found an old dog toy from the garage and brought it in. It had me going for a minute there!

Actually, he doesn’t jump all of the way in. He just leans in with his front feet and tries to take a drink. His Sheltie brother taught him that!
