Daisy Mae update ~ Spoke to her surgeon ~
He has some concerns over it being her front leg rather then her back legs, could indicate a new problem going on.
However, he said to “Watch her for a couple of days. If she gets worse, or doesn’t get better, lets get her in for a look. I would even be ok with you putting her on an anti inflammatory. This could be just part of a set back in her recovery, remember it really takes about 4 months to heal. Do not hesitate to bring her in if you feel she is not getting better……”
So now I continue to stare at her, kiss her, stare some more, and pet her ears.
If you knew her you would probably understand.
If you knew our story you would get it for sure!!
She has died once (after stepping on a bee) and I had to douche her for several months. We have a bond like none other~

Thank you for sharing your update on Daisy Mae. She is so beautiful. We will continue to keep her in our thoughts and prayers. It sounds like you have a great surgeon who is there if you need him. Please give her a hug and pat on the head for all us here.
