I need some sympathy over here!!!
Hey pups! Oliver here!
Well, I had just about the roughest day a pup could have! Mommy and Daddy noticed that I was limping on my front left leg really bad last night. They waited out the night to make sure it wasn’t just a sore paw or something. Well, this morning…I was worse. I wouldn’t put any weight on it or anything. Mommy called the mean doctor lady and took me in. You’ll never guess what they did!! First..they did butt pokeys on me!!! I mean, come on! My leg hurts, not my butt, so leave it alone! Then they pulled and pushed on my leg. Boy! That hurt! But I, being the big strong wienie that I am, didn’t make a peep. Mean doctor lady calls me “stoic”, whatever the heck that means. THEN…They tried to make me lie down on a big cold table. HA! I showed them! Oliver von Chickenwings lies down for NO ONE!! So they stuck me with some pokey thing. I don’t remember much after that. Mommy was holding me and laughing. I think she said my tongue was hanging out. Whatever…mean mommy. When I woke up the mean doctor lady was showing Mommy some cool looking pictures. She said my shoulder is sprained not broken!! I guess that is good. They said I don’t need surgery, but I think what I do need is worse!!!
I’m on crate rest!! For a whole week! OH THE TORTURE!!! I don’t cry at pokeys but I sure do cry at crate time. Mommy gave me a happy pill (woo-woo) and said I get PEANUT BUTTER later!! But still…I deserve sympathy!! I gots a hurt leg, I had to get butt pokeys, I got knocked out and put on crate rest all in one stinky day.
I’m pouting right now and sending Mama the stink-eye. She said she needs to take a picture so everyone can see how pathetic I am…mean…that’s what that is.

You are very lucky that all you have to do is rest and you didn’t need a operation, so you just be lazy Oliver and let mommy wait on you nose and paw. Take care, Ace

I would suggest that you start howling and don’t stup until you get loads of…. cheese. Try it every hour, on the hour, and that should make the crate rest go more quickly. Lots of ’stink-eye’ looks are good too; they should be good for more cheese or other treats. Crate rest will get you better quickly, and is a good idea, but I would milk it for sympathy and all the cheese you can get.
Hope you feel better soon.

Oliver! This is a PIE-tastrophe! Give your mommy lots of stink eyes. I did that for my mommy when I got the butt pokeys and boy did she pony up the good treats after that!
I hope your shoulder feels better…listen to Harry’s suggestions, he is wise in these matters!
Love your PIE brother from another mother,
Dylan

Poor baby. Seems like everyone is going to the doctor these days. I hope your little paw is better. Just rest and relax. You haven’t been jumping down from the bed or the couch have you. I know it’s hard but let Mommy lift you down.
Kisses sweet baby.
