Kona’s big adventure at the dog beach
We have always heard about the dog beach in Huntington Beach (about 30 miles north of us) so we had to check it out. After weekend after weekend of planning on going but not really following through, today we finally made it! And it was a sight to be seen. Dozens and dozens of dogs, big and small, running in the sand, playing fetch with their humans. Kona was so excited. Before we even hit the sand, he was walking with a little extra pep in his step and the biggest smile I had ever seen! As soon as we stepped foot on the sand (today was the first time Kona has ever been to the beach), I took him off leash and off he went chasing the tennis ball that daddy tossed for him. Here are some pictures of his big adventure!
Enjoy!
Love always,

Thanks for bringing me to the dog beach mom and dad!
Taking in the view…
Brr… the water was freezing, but it was fun playing in the waves! Mommy missed the moment on camera, so she had to take the after picture!

We love going to the beach too! All that sand to dig in and to run on. Wonderful! Don’t much like the waves and the pools of water though….. brrrr…. water is SO WET!
