Oops! Mom’s not happy with me

This Morning dad left the gate at the bottom of the stairs open so I rushed up stairs to say good morning to mom (I am not usually allowed up to the bedrooms) I jumped up on the bed and said good morning, I was so excited and wagging my tail and jumping but I guess I was a litte too excited and I pee’d all over the bed. Mommy was not happy with that at all. But I made sure to be very cute and wag my tail a lot so she couldn’t stay mad at me.
It is really her fault anyways, if she let me up to sleep in the big bed everynight (which as everyone knows is where a dachshund belongs) I wouldn’t have gotten so excited.

I agree - tell mama to let you sleep in the bed. But I don’t think peeing on it was the best way to propose your idea!

I don’t know any dachsies that don’t get to sleep in bed. I slept with Mommy from the first night. Mom got ready for me by putting a waterproof mattress pad on the bed while I was little.
I showed her - I never made a boo boo in the bed. After all It’s my bed too and I don’t want to sleep in a wet spot any more than she does. Everyone has different homes and rules though. Ask Daddy to take you out before charging up the stairs and maybe you will win your way. I hope so. There is nothing like cuddling with a doxie or 2 or 3 on a cold night. Best blankie in the whole world.

Ha! We get to sleep in the big bed, and Anna has peed in it anyway. But the big bed is really the best place for a doxie to sleep. they need you to keep them warm!
