The hatches are still battened down……

What a day! We are currently in the ‘eye of the storm’, so we are a bit windswept but otherwise fine. One of our trees has lost a large branch, but caused no damage. The town is flooded now that it is high tide, but luckily, we live on a hill. Our human cousin Robin had an interesting ferry journey to school this morning……..

I have my water wings at the ready, but I hope that I won’t need them.

Perhaps you can tie Otto, Anton and Hughie together and crawl under them for shelter when you go outside? Not sure if your mommy would approve but they seem like sturdy lads!

Would you like to borrow my swim gear, like a snorkel? Or perhaps I should just send a boat. Hughie is strong, he can paddle you here!

Oh Harry, we wish you could be here safe with us. All that water…ugh! At least we didn’t have those terrible winds when we got s***! Mommy say she has been in England near you when a gale hit, so she knows a little of what you are going thru. Stay strong gang, and jst tell your mum to give you more cheese!
Love,
Smokey and Anna
