Storms…… chapter 2 awaited tomorrow….
We survived yesterdays winds and rain…. by staying firmly indoors. There was NO WAY that you would have persuaded me to put one paw outside, though Anton did venture out for a minute or two. Mum said that he was fairly safe…. as he is so heavy and has smallish ears, that he wouldn’t wooooosssssshhhhhhhed away like I would have done. Lots of trees came down locally and the town was flooded by the sea; am I glad that I live up on a hill! Can you imagine all that water? I would have had to use Belle’s snorkel and my water wings.
The weather forecast is better for today, though it is still wet, but at least the winds have dropped a bit. The forecast for tomorrow is for more gale force winds and lots more rain. We are not looking forward to it!

Those winds sound horrible. Stay safe inside (with plenty of cheese of course)

Sounds precarious! Best to stay inside snuggled up under the covers and nibbling on cheese!
