The ride~ and acupuncture

Easter was a long day for us. The night before we had a friend over and Daisy was jumping on him. Yup, jumping. Dang it!
We kenneled her up while we went to dinner and when we got home she was once again walking funny meaning a bit drunk, a bit sore. Then she started panting~ it was not hot. So, I got one of her pain pills from the surgery and took her to bed.
Easter I could not stay home with her, we were spending it with family which includes a 90 year old aunt and a 95 year old aunt. So we kenneled her up and hoped she would sleep. We think she did because when we got home she seemed to feel better, even so we carried her for most of the day.
Today she is once again doing much better.
I hate playing this game though.
So we have emailed a gal in town who does acupuncture for pets. Our surgeon said that would be fine and so we hope it will help Daisy Mae to recover even that much more.
I will keep you posted on what we find out and thank you for being so supportive!!
Hugs ~

Wow I am curious to see how the acupuncture goes for Daisy Mae. It has been used for centuries on humans with great results so why wouldn’t it help a dachshund?

As hard as it must have been to leave her on Easter the quiet crate rest was probably the best thing for her.

We’re pulling for Daisy Mae - keep updating us on her progress.

I know a couple doxies that have had it with success. Hope it works on Daisy, too!
