Freddie answers questions!
I turned 4 months old a week ago today (THANKS Mommy for telling everyone) and so I thought it was time to give you all a progress report on how I am growing.
First off, Mommy puts me on this cold square metal thing with a dial which tells her how much I weigh. She says I am a beefy 8 3/4 pounds and that I was only 5 pounds when I arrived in The Bronx.
Secondly, I have decided it is time to throw Mean Mommy and Precious Poppa into a panic and have lost a tooth or two. You can’t believe how hysterical it is to see two grown hoomans trying to decide if they BROKE OFF or FELL OUT!
As a long-haired doxie boy, everyone who doesn’t KNOW anything about dachshunds keeps asking WHERE’S HIS LONG HAIR??? Of course it is already on my ears but everyone who DOES know anything about dachshunds knows that I should get a whole lot hairier the older I get.
In the hair department, I am pleased to report that
a. I am getting teeny tiny leg feathers.
b. The hair on my tail is getting longer and has started to curl.
I would show you others things that have been sprouting on me, but Mean Mommy says this is a PG rated Blog. Meanie!!! I happen to think my little jewels are mighty nice - considering I spend so much time keeping them clean!
Well, I am exhausted so that’s all for now.

b. Your fur is coming along very nicely! (I think I was over a year old before I started getting my long fur)
